The blog
What kind of recipes will I find on the blog?
Mobile Soul Eats is for home cooks looking for inspiration to get into the kitchen. Our blog is filled with easy, everyday recipes as well as recipes that will take a little more work, but are still totally worth the effort. Our focus is on using food to connect us so many of the dishes are influenced by more than one cuisine or culture. Popular recipe categories include: Brunch, Baked Goods and Snacks + Appetizers
Which cuisines and cultures will be highlighted in the recipes?
Some of our favorite cuisines are Soul Food (from the American South), Jamaican, Japanese, Indian, Thai, and Mediterranean food, but a part of our mission is to “learn constantly”, so dishes may be inspired by food from anywhere in the world.
How often are new recipes published?
Currently, at least one new recipe is added to the blog each week, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday. Feel free to subscribe to our mailing list for updates on upcoming and newly published recipes.
Do you develop recipes for other outlets?
Yes! We offer recipe testing and development for other blogs, websites, and cookbooks. Please reach out to info@mobilesouleats.com with any requests for new and exciting recipes.
How can I subscribe to the email newsletter for the blog?
Oh, this one’s easy – just fill in this form.

What exactly is a cookie bite?
Our cookies are approximately 1.5-2 inches in diameter. Not only is this size a perfect snack size, but cookie bites can easily be shared… if you can bring yourself to share. They are also great for parties, meetings, and gift bags. We pack our cookies into convenient 2-packs that are perfect for snacks or the kids’ lunches.
Why are the biscuits square?
The main reason our biscuits are square is that it’s a much more efficient way to cut the dough. It minimizes scrapes and maximizes the number of biscuits we’re able to make for you to eat!
What happens if an item I want to order is out of stock?
When items are out of stock, they are no longer visible in the shop. If you are looking for a specific item and don’t see it in the shop, you can try using the Search feature on the right side of the shop page or contact us for more specific information about the product and when it is likely to be restocked.
How often do you restock the Mobile Soul Marketplace?
We restock whenever inventory is running low, and that ends up being approximately every other month. If something you want is out of stock and you’re tired of waiting, send us an email. We may be able to push that restock up a bit, just for you!
How often are new products added to the shop?
We offer our standard collection of gourmet cookies & biscuits throughout the year. Seasonal cinnamon rolls are available from October to December. We are constantly developing new recipes for the blog (Mobile Soul Eats) and seeking to expand our offerings to meet the needs of our customers. So feel free to contact us with suggestions of cookie flavors that you’d like to taste from the Mobile Soul Marketplace!
The Biscuit Club
What is The Biscuit Club?
The Biscuit Club started as a group of brave souls, mostly my friends, who just wanted to try out the new biscuits that I was whipping up. I would deliver them and they would give me feedback.
That has transformed into an even larger group that meets to just enjoy delicious food. Usually, the food is breakfast-style biscuits and the meeting happens in the form of a popup event, but The Biscuit Club has and will continue to take on many forms in order to meet the needs of its members.
How often does The Biscuit Club meet?
The Biscuit Club has a popup event about once every quarter. Biscuit deliveries are kind of random just to keep things exciting, but they happen at least once a month. Make sure to subscribe or follow us on social media to keep up with when biscuits will be available.
How else can I get my hands on a biscuit besides attending a popup event?
We have biscuit delivery days about once a month (sometimes more often), and these are announced as far in advance as possible on social media and via our email newsletter. We also have BTSY biscuit dough available on select pickup days throughout the month. Visit the Mobile Soul Marketplace to place your order and more details about how and when to pick up your order will be sent to you within 24 to 48 business hours.
Okay, enough! How can I join The Biscuit Club?
First, being in The Biscuit Club is more than just ordering a biscuit, it’s a mindset. Do you enjoy good food and seek out new and exciting food experiences? Do you believe in the power that food has to bring people together? Well, you’re already halfway there.
The next steps include subscribing to receive our newsletter and keeping an eye out for the next Biscuit Club popup event. There are even weekends where we offer local delivery service, so make sure to stay tuned, and we’ll get you a biscuit!
Catering + private events
How much does it cost to have an event catered?
Exact catering costs vary depending on the size and nature of the event; however, Mobile Soul’s standard brunch menu is usually between $20 and $30 per person. We specialize in gourmet breakfast and brunch experiences, however private lunch and dinner menus can be crafted and are usually $30 to $50 per person, depending on the dishes requested. Fees and taxes are not included in these estimates.
The best way to determine the cost for your catered event is to reach out to us at info@mobilesouleats.com with more specifics about what you need – including information such as an estimated headcount, what type of food you’re expecting, if you need full service or just drop off, etc. Then we will be in touch with a more accurate quote.
What foods are available for catering?
How can I get in touch with you for catering inquiries?
You can use the contact form on this page or email us directly at info@mobilesouleats.com for more information or answers to your catering inquiries.
Are catering meals individually packaged?
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have begun individually wrapping as many products as possible for catering purposes. Private events of less than 10 people can still opt to receive “family-style” catering.
As always, safety is a primary focus for all Mobile Soul events so whether items are individually packaged or not, they will arrive prepared, sealed, and stored according to food safety guidelines.
Do you cater to alternative dietary lifestyles/allergies?
We are able to accommodate most dietary needs and substitutions, but many of Mobile Soul’s recipes include dairy, soy, nuts, and milk. It is very important to disclose all allergies and dietary preferences during the quoting process, so that we may best serve you or refer you to another great caterer who specializes in exactly what you need.
I’m not located in Charlotte. Can you still provide catering for my party or event?
Anything is possible. Well, not literally anything, but we do love to travel! Just let us know where the catering is needed in your message, and we will use that information to provide you an accurate quote.

Mobile Soul’s future products
Are there any new upcoming products and events where I can get something to eat?
- B.T.S.Y. official launch – February 2022
What is BTSY?
B.T.S.Y. stands for Bake That Sh*t/Stuff Yourself. You can choose which word you want to use, but the sentiment remains the same. We whip up some of our most popular biscuit and cookie dough flavors and leave the baking to you. Pre-made gourmet dough ready for you to pop into the oven and enjoy whenever you want. That’s BTSY.
About the business + our mission
How did you come up with the name for the business?
Mobile Soul actually began as a meal preparation service in Raleigh, NC in 2105. The meals were delivered to clients and we offered grocery shopping services as well. Our focus has always been using fresh foods and flavors that inspire and connect our clients and customers, but instead of meal preparation, we bring delicious food and inspiration in the form of catering services, popup events, our online bakery & blog.
What are the goals for the business?
Mobile Soul seeks to empower, educate, and connect our customers and communities more with the foods they eat, but also more with one another. We hope to elevate not only food experience but also food access by supporting organizations whose primary mission is to make sure resources like nutritious food, clean water, adequate education, and affordable housing are readily available.
Who are your customers? Your tribe?
Our tribe is made up of foodies, creatives, community leaders, movers, shakers, and those who constantly seek to be and do better. Our customers love familiar, comforting foods with an exciting twist.
How does Mobile Soul seek to improve the world?
Besides sharing delicious, life-changing food experiences with our customers, we seek to remind home cooks everywhere that they, too, can make magic in the kitchen.
Our hope is that partnership with and support of various grassroots organizations will lead to a tangibly brighter and more equitable future for those who have been historically overlooked. Fresh food and gardens in every neighborhood. Ample affordable housing options. Free educational programs that lead to jobs offering thriving wages.
Affiliate marketing + sponsorships
What is your current affiliate status?
Currently, Mobile Soul does not exist as an affiliate for any other corporation. Any products that are recommended on our website are products that we use and honestly endorse, for free. In the future, we will do our very best to only participate in affiliate marketing for companies that are aligned as possible with Mobile Soul’s values and mission. Any updates on our affiliate status will be found here as well as in individual blog posts where affiliate links may appear.
Brands that we hope to receive sponsorship from?
Brands that have a very clear goal to improve access to food without sacrificing nutrition and quality like Imperfect Foods or Aldi. Other brands/associations that promote the arts, wellness, local community-building are also ideal sponsors for Mobile Soul.
