- and MORE…
What started as a humble grocery and meal delivery service in Raleigh, NC has evolved into a collection of deliciously memorable food experiences that highlight fresh ingredients and tell stories we might have heard before, but from new perspectives.

Mobile Soul [Eats] is a collection of recipes, how-to’s, and food stories.
Every part of the Mobile Soul brand seeks to help people develop a healthier, more balanced relationship with the foods that they eat. The blog is filled with relatable recipes and culturally-inspired home cooking. There are nutrient-rich, vegetarian, and vegan recipes right alongside indulgent meat, bread, cheese recipes, and lots of desserts – because balance, moderation, and wholeness are key.
We LOVE brunch and biscuits. You will also find recipes for sandwiches, stews, soups, cakes, pies that are made from scratch, easy finger foods, dips, salads, and salsas, braises that take all day, tips on “doctoring up” store-bought alternatives that save time and money, and plenty quick recipes for those weekday nights.
Our recipes tend to rely on simple ingredients and layering to develop complex flavors.
Recipes will include step-by-step instructions to help readers successfully recreate the dish; HOWEVER, one of the primary goals of the blog is to help home cooks feel more comfortable doing their own thing in the kitchen. We want to provide the (1) foundational concepts and (2) inspiration that help you along on your own food journey. That being said, feel free to leave a comment or email me if there are questions about a recipe or if any additional explanation is needed. That’s one of my favorite parts of the job.
